About Me

Originally from Tianjin, China, I moved to Fairfax, Virginia, for high school, then to Hanover, New Hampshire, for college, and now to Cambridge, Massachusetts, for graduate school.

Outside of study and research, I enjoy playing with my adopted cat Alexie (pictured below), spending time with my wonderful girlfriend Claire, hanging out with my friends, playing ice hockey (or just skating around), skiing, watching movies, and visiting places with breathtaking natural sceneries (even if it takes a 10-mile hike). The background pictures of my website depict some of the prettiest spots I have been to (the pictures are not mine).  

Also, I am a fervent supporter of Manchester United, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and Jannik Sinner, even though the first two have inflicted a great amount of pain on me over the years.
